We were commissioned to draw our first picture of the Isle of Sheppey by Sharrocks Insurance who use Watson’s Mill as their office. Here is a quote from Alan Doucy, Managing Director of Sharrocks:
“We found “White One Sugar” through twitter and loved their re-imagining of scenes from the south east so much so we commissioned them to illustrate our unique office premises. The process was exceptionally efficient and we are delighted with the results as are our customers who see the picture whenever they visit our office.”
Now that we have started with Sheerness we will have to think about drawing some more pictures of the Isle.

Access to the island is by bridge - the Sheppey Crossing - the fifth bridge to be built since the reign of Edward I.
Some people call Sheppey Kent’s Treasure Island as there is a wealth of hidden gems to explore. Elmley Nature Reserve offers the bird lover an area that is home to harriers, avocets and short eared owls. Situated on a farm, you can also see hares, a plethora of insects and many species of wildflowers.
The island offers kayaking, boating and kiting at Barton’s Point Coastal Park, a good place to camp, fish or have a picnic.
